Artisan hands at work on hand embroidery

Craft & Story

Nine workshops. Forty-one artisans. One standard.

Why we work this way

Named workshops, not vendors

Every piece we ship is made by a workshop we know by name and can put you in touch with. Embroiderers in Bagru, brass casters in Jaipur's Chandpole, potters in Khurja, marble inlay artisans in Makrana — paid per piece, at rates set with them, not for them.

That's also why we don't run a fixed price list: quantity, branding method and packaging change what a fair price looks like, both for you and for the workshop.

What we work in

Hand Embroidery

Chain-stitch and appliqué worked by hand in Bagru — used for totes, journals and packaging accents.

Hand Block Printing

Hand-carved teak blocks and natural dyes, printed one length at a time on cotton and linen.

Brass & Copper Casting

Sand-cast in Moradabad and Jaipur's Chandpole, then hand-chased and finished — no two pieces carry identical tool marks.

Wheel-Thrown Ceramic

Thrown one at a time in Khurja, glazed in small batches so colour varies naturally between pieces.

Stone & Brass Inlay

Marble and brass inlay from Makrana workshops, used for boards, coasters and desk pieces.

Hand Wood Carving

Mango wood carved and jaali-cut by hand for lanterns and decorative objects.

Saddle-Stitched Leather

Vegetable-tanned leather, saddle-stitched by hand for desk sets and travel accessories.

We don't hold warehouse stock of finished, branded goods — each order is produced against your brief, which is why lead times run 15–25 days depending on craft and quantity. A physical sample is couriered for approval before full production on orders above 100 pieces.
